Członkowie grupy roboczej pracują nad dokumentacją do kompletnej propozycji projektu, aktualnie nad diagnozą, czyli określeniem problemów i potrzeb rozwojowych, szukaniem dla nich rozwiązań oraz nowej ścieżki rozwoju dla miasta Jarosław. Celem spotkania było zdobycie informacji dotyczących źródeł, z których można otrzymać konkretne dane.

Obecnie powołany przez Burmistrza zespół roboczy, przy wsparciu szkoleniowym, doradczym oraz metodycznym ze strony Związku Miast Polskich, pracuje nad diagnozą słabych i mocnych stron Jarosławia. Identyfikowane są również szanse i zagrożenia dla rozwoju miasta w kilku obszarach, w tym społecznym, gospodarczym, środowiskowym i wdrażania standardów dostępności (obowiązkowe obszary), a także przestrzennym, finansowania rozwoju i inteligentnego zarządzania miastem.

Prace nad projektem potrwają do końca października 2020 roku. Po opracowaniu i złożeniu projektu i planów rozwoju do oceny przez ekspertów, wybranych zostanie ok. 15 projektów, które otrzymają dofinansowanie od 3 do 10 mln euro.

Working team meeting

On 6 March 2020 at 10:00, the Urban team responsible for the Project’s preparation for the second phase of the contest hold a meeting with advisers deputized by the Partner of the Local Development Program - Association of Polish Cities: Marek Gabzdyl, coordinator of the city advisers and Kamil Nikklewicz. The meeting was attended by specialists from various industries employed in the City Council and in the subordinated entities.

The project's design and process of preparing documents important for the strategy of the city of Jarosław were discussed. The participants discussed in detail the first phase of the work on the Local Development Plan which, in addition to the Institutional Development Plan, is one of the main documents submitted by the applicants during the second stage of the contest. It is a document that identifies a set of activities aiming to address the problems identified and to stimulate multi-faceted development in the environmental, economic and social dimensions above all.

In their presentation, experts from the Association of Polish Cities focused primarily on presenting the first stage of the work on the Local Development Plan. They presented the new Local Development Monitor diagnostic tool aimed at the city diagnosis, which was developed under the project "Local development monitoring at urban and intra-urban level" financed by the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy under the operational program Technical assistance 2014-2020. It is a tool for the synthetic assessment in time of the socio-economic potential of the municipality and in relation to other municipalities with similar functions in the settlement structure of the country. Its functionalities were shown by indicators referring to Demography, Labor market and Economy; the City of Jarosław was compared to Jasło, Sanok and Biłgoraj.
